🌸Who We Are

Mary Fu, Co-Founder

As a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, Mary co-founded Her Long Island Influence to create a supportive and inspiring space where women can connect, grow, and thrive. Her mission is to foster meaningful relationships, provide valuable resources, and empower women to achieve their goals—both personally and professionally. Beyond her work with Her Long Island Influence, Mary serves as the Chief Advancement Officer at AHRC Suffolk, where she leads strategic initiatives in fundraising, donor cultivation, and financial sustainability. Her commitment to making a difference extends across both her professional and personal endeavors, as she continuously strives to uplift those around her and create opportunities for growth. Mary is also actively involved in the community, serving on the Board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Long Island chapter and as a member of the Board Development Committee for the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Hofstra University and an MBA in Finance from LIU Post.








Nicole L. Weingartner, Co-Founder

Nicole L. Weingartner is a Director in Greenberg Traurig’s Government Law & Policy Practice, where she provides strategic advocacy support to clients navigating state government relations. She represents nonprofit organizations, trade associations, and government entities, particularly those based on Long Island, on complex budgetary, legislative, and regulatory matters. Nicole’s practice includes designing and implementing comprehensive legislative advocacy campaigns, analyzing the potential implications of state and local laws, and advising clients on Political Action Committee operations including development, management, bookkeeping, and reporting. Her work frequently focuses on funding, contracting and procurement, and crisis management, helping clients successfully maneuver through multifaceted governmental processes. Drawing on her experience serving in the New York State Senate and the New York State Assembly, Nicole brings firsthand knowledge of legislative and budget procedures to her clients. Her strong relationships at the municipal, county, state, and federal levels further position her as a trusted advisor and effective advocate. Nicole has been widely recognized for her leadership and impact, including being named to Long Island Business News’ Top 50 Women in 2024 and 40 Under 40 in 2023, as well as Long Island Herald Newspapers’ Premier Business Women of Long Island in 2023. Committed to community engagement and women’s leadership, Nicole serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors of the AHRC Suffolk Foundation and is co founder of Her Long Island Influence, a women’s networking organization dedicated to fostering collaboration, professional growth, and meaningful connection across Long Island. Nicole earned her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies in Criminal Justice and Music Industry from Monmouth University and her BS in Airport Management and Air Traffic Control from Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology.
