As a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, Mary co-founded Her Long Island Influence to create a supportive and inspiring space where women can connect, grow, and thrive. Her mission is to foster meaningful relationships, provide valuable resources, and empower women to achieve their goals—both personally and professionally.
Beyond her work with Her Long Island Influence, Mary serves as the Chief Advancement Officer at AHRC Suffolk, where she leads strategic initiatives in fundraising, donor cultivation, and financial sustainability. Her commitment to making a difference extends across both her professional and personal endeavors, as she continuously strives to uplift those around her and create opportunities for growth.
Mary is also actively involved in the community, serving on the Board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Long Island chapter and as a member of the Board Development Committee for the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Hofstra University and an MBA in Finance from LIU Post.
As a registered lobbyist and the Director of State Government Affairs at Davidoff Hutcher & Citron’s Government Relations group in New York City, Nicole provides strategic advocacy support to clients on a wide range of budgetary, legislative, and regulatory matters. Her expertise spans the design and implementation of legislative advocacy campaigns, navigating the complexities of state and local laws, and managing political action committees. Nicole’s extensive relationships at the municipal, county, state, and federal levels have made her a trusted advisor to government clients on Long Island, helping them secure funding, contracts, and navigate crisis situations. Nicole’s passion for empowering women led her to co-found Her Long Island Influence, where she helps create opportunities for women to collaborate, learn, and thrive. Through this initiative, she is dedicated to providing a platform for professional growth, leadership development, and meaningful dialogue that inspires action and change. In addition to her work in advocacy, Nicole is a recognized leader in numerous organizations, including serving as Co-Chair of the Viscardi Advisory Council, a member of the Women’s Steering Committee of the Association for a Better New York (ABNY), and a board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals' Long Island chapter. She also contributes to the U.S. Government Relations Committee of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Global. Nicole is a proud alumna of Monmouth University, where she earned her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies – Criminal Justice & Music Industry, and Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology, where she earned her B.S. in Airport Management & Air Traffic Control. With her dedication to leadership, advocacy, and community impact, Nicole continues to inspire and empower women through Her Long Island Influence, helping them achieve their fullest potential in both their personal and professional lives.
